Donnafugata Resort

A+A  has been appointed Lead Architect for the transformation of Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa, a prestigious property set within the landscape of south-eastern Sicily and soon to become part of the wider Costa Ragusa destination. The project will reposition the resort as a 5-star luxury destination, with approximately 190 guestrooms, together with the refurbishment of its common areas, spa and main guest facilities.

Golf is one of the defining elements of the destination, with two 18-hole courses and dedicated practice areas set within an estate of almost 500 hectares. As Lead Architect, A+A leads the architectural development and coordinates the different disciplines, shaping a coherent vision that brings together hospitality, sport, wellness and landscape. The project aims to enhance the qualities of the site and strengthen the relationship between the resort and its territory, contributing to Costa Ragusa’s positioning as an international high-end, year-round destination.
